About Us
What about us and the things we do?
Established in 1993, our practice’s team of experts now consists of fourteen dedicated physiotherapists, each having completed a 3 year degree programme and at least 6 years post-graduate experience before becoming specialists in their field. We encourage and support staff to continuously update their knowledge and skills so as to be up to date with the latest research, practical skills and treatments.
Our therapists are also in demand outside the practice, representing sports teams to a National level, lecturing and presenting in business.
How to pay for your treatment
Self Funding
If you are paying for your treatment yourself, it couldn’t be easier or quicker. Simply call us, or book online, and get yourself an appointment. We sometimes have appointments available that day!
NHS Referral
Getting physiotherapy treatment through the NHS is available at 3 Way Physio – you can either contact your GP or you can now self refer via our website. This can result in longer waiting times, but sometimes that’s OK.

What treatments do we provide?
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a specialised profession aimed at individuals of all ages to prevent, restore, maintain, develop and enhance movement and function.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is typically used by athletes as part of an overall sporting regime to prepare them for peak performance and prevent injury.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine. Fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes.
Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy or ESWT is an established and effective treatment for soft-tissue injuries that is clinially proven and recommended by NICE.
Male Pelvic Health
We have the expertise and specialist Shockwave Therapy technology to solve Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome.
Women's Health
Our specialist Women’s Health physiotherapist is successful at treating pelvic floor issues as well as many urinary incontinence conditions.
Sports Injuries
At 3 Way Physio we believe that it is not just enough to accurately diagnose and effectively treat sports injuries, but that a graduated and sports-specific rehabilitation programme is vital for the athlete to return to their peak fitness and performance.
Ear Microsuction
We offer a specialist clinic for the treatment of ear wax removal. Our specialist practitioner is very successful in the use of ear microsuction, which is still the safest and quickest method of ear wax removal. She is also able to provide irrigation techniques if appropriate.
